Looking to implement an e-commerce solution for your public facing website? Want to manage transactions between suppliers and customers through a secure Extranet? Want to sell membership services and tailored subscriptions? The point-and-click simplicity of E-Commerce within CentricMinds Enterprise Java Version 6.4 enables non-technical business users to manage an end-to-end E-Commerce solution.

The Commerce Repository environment within CentricMinds Enterprise Java Version 6.4 contains seven views:

  • Product Lines (a grouping or categorization of individual Products, e.g. Running Shoes)
  • Products (individual Products, e.g. Nike, Adidas, Puma, etc.)
  • Buyers (end users who interact with your e-commerce environment, e.g. end users who purchase a Product through the Shopping Cart)
  • Shipping (define Shipping Rules with associated Shipping costs. These will be included as part of the Shopping Cart Checkout process)
  • Orders (when end users purchase something through the Shopping Cart, an individual Order is created)
  • Seller Reports (the Commerce environment of the CentricMinds WCMS enables the ability to setup and manage a simple B2B marketplace. End users can become Sellers, and sell their own Products through the Shopping Cart environment. This will not be covered within this documentation)
  • Email (define the messaging you want to display to end users when they complete various aspects of the shopping cart process)
