Security is perhaps the most important aspect of any publishing and collaboration environment. Convurge provides a very granular security model based on Users, Groups and Roles.

What permissions do I have?
Users are assigned to Groups. Group permissions are defined by Roles. When a User logs into Convurge, the Group they are associated with will determine what pages they can access, what content they can upload and what authoring processes they have. You can create Roles which allow Users to publish all content and view all pages, and you can create Roles which only allow Users to modify Files on one page within a 1,000 page Intranet. Make it as granular as you like.

Security and Workflow integration
Users, Groups and Roles within Convurge are fully integrated with the Workflow environment. Once you have created your Roles, you can determine which Roles are managed by a Workflow process.

If you’re wanting to create mailing lists, subscription services and registration tasks, the Subscription Management environment of Convurge provides you with some neat tools.

Design, Build and Broadcast
Now you can design your e-newsletters and registration notifications as pages within the site, and then choose these pages to be sent as HTML based emails to your subscribers. Embed links, documents and rich media to make your subscriptions engage your audience.

Form Integration
Create new subscription groups, and your registration forms on the live site are automatically updated. Add subscribers to multiple groups, and allow end subscribers to unsubscribe and change their subscription tasks.
