- Web-based File System. Remove the need for shared drives that are littered across the network with disparate documents and no version control. Web-based allows for authors to work from anywhere via a web browser (IE and Firefox supported)
- Searching and Indexing. Upload popular formats such as Microsoft Office and Adobe PDF, and view them natively, or in HTML with highlighting, etc.
- Metadata Categorisation. Associate Metadata templates (Metaplates) to documents, and categorise how they are managed and viewed
- Repository Searching. Allow authors to search and discover documents. Authors can build metadata filters to refine their document searches
- Drag and drop publishing. Allow authors to drag and drop documents to folders on their desktop, where documents are captured and published into the File Repository and automatically tagged with metadata based on their role
- Versioning. Check-In/Check-Out, Minor and Major Version Control. Rollback and Restore
- Audit Trails. Who uploaded and when, who modified and when
- Cross Linking. Where do documents live, what do they link to, who created the link and when
- Document Level Security. Set View Security permissions to define who can view the Document at a Role or individual user level. Set Admin Security permissions to define who can author the Document at a Role or individual user level
- Workflow Integration. Confidently provide access to Document Management knowing that strict Workflow Process Management will ensure authors can perform tasks only made available to them
