Starting with 104 residents in regional Victoria, Regis Aged Care (Regis) now provides care for more than 6,000+ people across Australia who call Regis home. Regis is an industry leader providing high-quality care for older people through effective management by a committed professional team. Regis strives every day to support its residents' wellbeing goals through residential care, retirement living, home care, respite care, and day therapy programs delivered by their committed team of over 9,000 amazing people.

The Challenge

Communication and Connection

Regis required a better way to communicate and connect with its team across the organization, to build a culture centered around learning, collaborating and sharing success. The key issues Regis were looking to solve included: 

  • Providing a platform for communication that facilitated the ability for team members to have meaningful two-way communication.
  • Employing an intuitive authoring experience for designing and publishing internal communications.
  • Supporting the ability to promote employer branding and build transparency around communication.

Regis required the ability to create internal communications that were on brand, could be produced quickly, and could be shared with everyone or targeted at certain groups.

Within this type of environment, it's important for employees to stay informed about policy changes, hazards, and career opportunities and to celebrate one another.

Regis was seeking a solution that ensured team members felt included, valued, and connected. Clear and timely communication was the key to building on organizational culture. The publishing tools needed to be intuitive for anyone to use; from managers to care assistants. Regis also wanted employees to be able to access key information and receive notifications from their personal mobile devices.

The Solution

Internal Communication

RegiNET (the Regis Intranet) hosts company-wide announcements and news that were previously sent via email. Communication posts are easily created and shared with groups or the entire organization from a single location.

Using the Internal Communications tools, Regis can develop and share inspiring communications that reflect the vibrant and innovative culture that is reflective of the Regis brand within the market.

RegiNET makes it simple to create new communication channels and announcements can be scheduled ahead of time.

Native Mobile App

CentricMinds implemented the iOS and Android app branded as Regis Aged Care.

RegiNET on mobile devices is a dedicated native experience which allows Regis team members to browse and view internal comms targeted towards the groups they are a part of, browse the team directory and locate other team members as well as search across RegiNET all from their device.

Team Directory

The new Team Directory enables employees to search and discover other team members across the Regis organization, including identifying what groups they belong to, their expertise and more. Team members can manage their own profile information, with the ability to update their profiles by taking a selfie via the RegiNET mobile app.

Analytics

Within RegiNET, Regis are now able to view how team members are using the Intranet. Which team members are posting, the level of engagement from other team members viewing comms and more. CentricMinds Analytics allows Regis to track user journeys through RegiNET and identify ways of improving communications for the entire organization.

The Results

With a timeframe of just 3 months, CentricMinds was tasked with planning, designing, implementing and training the Regis Aged Care team in deploying the CentricMinds platform.

The solution included a branded Intranet and dedicated Mobile App experience configured to enable the design, creation and publishing of targeted Internal Communications for Regis.

The mobile app facilitated the ability for more frequent participation between team members, with the ability to consume internal communications while on the go.

The CentricMinds platform provides the Regis team with a highly flexible solution for creating and publishing content (Internal Comms, files, social engagement) across desktops and mobile devices, and supports the tracking on the engagement of these targeted communications through intuitive analytics.
